The Niles Sign Foundation was set up in 2004 to create a forum to protect, preserve and promote the Niles sign located in the hills overlooking the township of Niles, in Fremont California. Key to this mission is the illumination of this sign to create a beacon for the community, its businesses and its residents.

This "Not for Profit" 501c3 corporation hopes, through the generosity of sponsors and donors, to use solar sourced lighting to make the illumination stand out for the surrounding area.
